Played at Stubbermyra cricket ground on 2nd July Kl 17.30-21.45

Toss- Aliens loss the toss and were put to field by the friendly Opposition, Aliens took to the ground and on the very first ball of the match Peter took a superb catch to dismiss the opponent Batsman for null, balled by Crawf.
It was a hot day at the ground with temperature about 25 degree.
We had to wait for quite some time before we could celebrate the second wicket which was caught behind by Bennen on doing the wicket keeping addition to scoring and saving himself to bat til the end. There were two behind the wicket catches by sir Ben. Who also took 4 wickets after he got his replacement Ankush who was playing his very first game with Aliens. Ankush also did 2 stumpings behind the wicket.
Marcus was very economical with his spin right hand balling and so was David who dismissed two batsman.
Paul took two wickets as well.
A good performance by the team, some good sharp filed from Brenson must be mentioned, who also went to gass station and sponsored some cold drinks to his fellow players as a kind gesture. The communication of the team was good all through.
United scored 149 runs to win in 25 overs
Batting response form Aliens was a bit nervous, as both openers Marcus and Anshul lost there wickets for nothing at a stage we were 16 for 3 and then 61-6 which was not looking good.
Thanks to Ankush and Crawf for building a partnership and bring the score to triple numbers.
Congratulations to Craf for a fighting half century and the lower bating order gave Aliens hope to come close to wining runs, we were short by some 19 runs.
And as we discussed on the ground, 5 runs were penalty hit of helmet behind the keeper and few extras which costs us the this friendly game.
Over all this was a good game & good to get some time on the ground on a near perfect cricketing weather, we could have not asked for more from weather gods.
