Oslo Alien's captain Damien Shortis celebrated his selection and vice-captaincy of the Norwegian national cricket team with a fine 36 vs Kolsås. This helped Aliens record their second victory of the year in the NCF 1st division. Damien has been scoring runs regularly for the club over the past four years. This includes five(5) centuries. The Norwegian selectors took notice and have rewarded him with a trip to Guernsey in July for the European Division 2 championships. He stated the vice-captaincy came as a shock but looks forward to the challenge and thanks the Norwegian selectors for this honor.
